      Louise Walder

      Position Held: From Sept 2016 – Assistant Head in charge of Mathematics and Computing

      Subject/Expertise: Mathematics, Computing
      SLE area of expertise:  Mathematics teaching at KS3/4/5. Development of Problem Solving for the new GCSE. Further Mathematics teaching – any module. Development of STEP/MAT/AEA support. Mock Oxbridge Interviews for mathematics/engineering/computer science. Providing challenge and enrichment within a scheme of work and within lessons. Advice in setting up and running a mathematics department. Running CPD workshops for maths departments. Use of data to identify underachieving students and put in place interventions. Development of training courses for teachers. Use of coaching to develop a colleague. Mentoring a teacher to develop their practice.

       

       

      Kay Mountfield

      Position Held: Deputy Headteacher

      Subject/Expertise: Leadership of CPD, Leadership of Curriculum and Teaching & Learning, Support for Most Able, Raising Standards, Performing Arts, English 

      SLE areas of interest: Experienced Deputy Head; specialist experience and expertise includes: overseeing academic departments and specifically HoD's in managing their teams to meet their teaching and learning and attainment targets (English, MFL, Drama, Dance, Music, Art, Design, Maths): supporting Assistant Heads and Middle Leaders through coaching and mentoring: reviewing Curricular Provision; challenging most able students: Performing and Creative Arts - Academic: cross curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular enrichment; student leadership programmes: raising standards and interventions; 6th Form transition: independent learning programmes; leading an Outstanding 6th Form. Kay taught in Windsor and Maidenhead for 16 years in the Windsor Boys' and Windsor Girls' Schools as an English teacher, Head of Drama, Head of Sixth Form and Senior Teacher. She was also Head of Drama at Edgbarrow School in Crowthorne, Berkshire. 

      Claire Hindley

      Subject/Expertise: Performing Arts, Dance specialist, AQA Examiner

      SLE areas of interest: I believe in the profession of teaching and the rewards it brings. I readily enjoy sharing practice and developing systems of improvement through adopting roles as a coach, consultant and supportive peer. As a middle leader in teaching and learning my experience comes from participating and coordinating learning reviews at 3 schools and being the founder and active member of 'Quality of Learning' and the 'Quality of Student Support' programmes at Sir William Borlase. On a senior leadership level, I have worked alongside the Head at Beaconsfield High to develop a culture change and to raise teaching, learning and assessment. More recently, as Associate Assistant Head at Sir William Borlase, I have pioneered a new tutor time model for all staff and students.

      SLE areas of interest: Departmental leadership; mentoring and coaching of NQTs and middle leaders; ensuring progress in lessons; challenging the most able and implementing data-led interventions.

      Position Held: Headteacher and Executive Head of the Marlow Education Trust, National Leader of Education

      Subject/Expertise: English and Drama

      SLE areas of interest: NLW areas: school leadership, curriculum design, finance and school budgeting, school to school support and collaborations, grant and bid writing, national and local trends and issues, school led system design and innovations.

      Subject/Expertise: ITT (School Direct) & NQT, Professional Learning, Teaching & Learning, Music. 

      SLE areas of interest: Music curricular and co-curricular extension lead; embedding 360-degree formative feedback systems in creative subjects; School Direct and NQT programme development; student leadership initiatives; school-wide coaching programme (including staff and 6th form); development of professional learning programmes as TSA lead; SLE training lead for Teaching Talent TSA network.

      James Simpson

      Position Held: Assistant Headteacher (Teaching and Learning). Head of History

      Subject/Expertise: History and Humanities, Evidence-informed practice, CPD, Teaching and Learning, using technology. 

      SLE areas of interest: Developing Teaching and Learning, including strategies to develop more effective independent learners; monitoring and assessing standards of teaching and learning; developing teaching through effective CPD; evidence-informed practice and school-based research, including the establishment of Professional learning Communities; the use of technology, particularly Google Apps for Education, to enhance and develop teaching and learning; leading an effective History department and strategies to facilitate collaboration across the Humanities. 

      Rhian Williams

      Position Held: Assistant Headteacher  DSL, Pastoral, SENCo

      Subject/Expertise: Safeguarding, pastoral concerns, SEND issues and statements/EHCP

      SLE areas of interest: Leadership and Management of safeguarding system in schools; leads local collective DSL group; trains whole school staff on safeguarding concerns. Experienced at interviewing teaching and non teaching staff with safer recruitment focus. Oversee implementation of vertical tutoring system. SENDCo for eight years, working with other professionals on better practice. Teach History and Politics.

      Heidi Swidenbank

      Position Held: Headteacher

      Subject/Expertise: School Improvement, English. 

      SLE areas of interest:  Heidi  is currently a headteacher with substantial experience of school improvement. She is also a current practising OFSTED inspector. In previous senior leadership roles Heidi was the lead for Teaching schools and this has secured significant experience of developing highly effective CPD for all staff.
